Boneyard Safari

This was a logo project for a fine art photography print studio specializing in old aircraft. Below is my process and changes working with the art director and the client.

Six of six sketches. The client liked the face of #3 and the body of #6.

#3 & #6 combined into one sketch.

Client asked for a different bomb.

Applying value.

More value work, increasing the value range.

Applying color.

Changing the color of the scarf.

Changed the hat.

Put a 'Sky' circle behind her.

Added Stars and Stripes.

Client asked for a different shoe.
